Overseeding is simple. We begin by mowing your lawn a little shorter than normal followed by raking to remove debris buildup at the base of your lawn. This practice ensures the new seed reaches the soil. Once we’ve raked the grass, we wheel our dispenser across your lawn to spread the new seed. Once we’ve the seed is spread, your part begins. It’s up to you at this point to keep the soil consistently moist until the seedlings have sprouted and shown significant growth.

Why should I Overseed my lawn?

Overseeding enhances your lawn's health and appearance and is a necessary practice for a lush and vibrant lawn. It has also been shown to significantly prevent the growth of weeds overtime.

When should I Overseed my lawn?

In the North, the best time of year to overseed is in the fall. In the fall, soil temperatures are still warm and create a good environment for the new seeds to grow. However, the spring is a good second time of year to overseed as the soil is moist and the climate has not yet hit peak heat.

How much do you charge for Overseeding my lawn?

The price to overseed your lawn depends mostly on the size your lawn. We charge based on how much seed will be used and labor. Most overseeding projects start around $150-200.
